This trick truly defies gravity with a borrowed bill! Like yigal said, "focus on your magic" the tarantula pretty much does the magic for you. Basically borrows a bill from the audience and having the bill fly upwards to your other hand. Great trick to apply to your act if your a strolling magician/ close up. Money Magnetism- This trick is hard hitting and simple. The trick speaks for itself, you can see this trick in the demo video.

The psychology behind this plus the new applications can be used with different objects besides a ring. Wow yigal came up with the break system which is truly a great innovation to thread work that combines with Steve Fearsons' hookup. I would suggest using a light wedding band for this. I'm currently still working on it and trying to find the perfect ring for this. 8/10įloating ring/Hovering- Great effect that requires audience management and takes LOTS of practice to perfect it. I forgot to mention one more thing, the gimmick, when you stretch it out to fit, BE CAREFUL! I stretched mine a little too far and ripped the gimmick a little. Therefore you can easily fix this with a little superglue or I prefer some rubber cement glue. BUT do not let that deter you from purchasing this. Had issues with the motor spooler falling off while taking the spool out. Quality of the gimmick- I would give it 8.5/10 due to the durability, could be better. There are endless possibilities with tarantula.

I've been using the spider pen for three years now and have been having difficulties with it. I have concluded that this gimmick is as versatile as TT! Great product that Yigal released. just in case the first one gets broken or thread gets twisted up.After playing with the tarantula, I was very pleased. I keep a spare tin of Altoids for re-fills as well as back-up Tarantula in spare tin. Retrieve the Tarantula while you're in the process for folding the paper back into the tin and closing the lid.

You can use your thumb to keep the paper covering the Tarantula in place when offering the mint. If you fold the paper in the Altoid tin just right you can offer the spectator(s) a mint without them even knowing it's in there.

When I open up the tin to retrieve the Tarantula it appears as though I'm just getting a mint. You can if you choose, pad the Tarantula with some other tissue paper to keep it facing open-side-up the way you want it to be able to get it in place quickly. So you'll have Altoids on the larger side of the box and the Tarantula on the other smaller side and covered over with the paper liner. After you clean this dust out you will be surprised how clean and dust-free the box will stay inside from not getting bounced around as much as it did in shipping. I also dump the mints first and clean out the mint dust in the box created from the mints during the shipping process with a damp cloth and wipe off the paper liner as well. This will keep things in place and mints from shifting the paper around in the box. Tape the paper liner to the inside bottom of the tin leaving about 1/4 or less of the box width for the "Tarantula's nest".

When I use it I carry it in and full size Altoids tin with a make-shift partition using the paper liner and double sided tape. these thing are delicate to say the least so you have to protect them from themselves so to speak.
